Searchfit is a form-based, extremely flexible, multi-merchant, shopping cart e-commerce solution fully compatible with Unix and Windows. The standard version uses a form-based approach rather than
html generated pages, but a database module is also available. Shopping cart pages can be easily integrated into existing or new sites using any html editor such as Dreamweaver or FrontPage. Multiple items from a page can be ordered at the same time. Items may have multiple properties such as size or color. Sales tax can be set for country/state sales tax rate. Over 12 different shipping methods available including: flat rate, percentage, amount table, weight table, item table, special per item, by weight using
UPS/USPS/Fedex shipping rate charts, and special custom shipping tables created by client. Discounts can be set as flat rate per order, percentage of total order, or using an amount table. Special discounts can be set through the use of a discount code (an electronic coupon).
